Is it possible to attach the Red touch LCD on a Red arm ?

I can't see why not. Otherwise the LCD would always have to be connected directly on top of the brain.

With my experience as a 1st AC on the EPIC, attaching the TouchLCD to an articulating arm works, it just looks extremely silly because you still have the base attached to the monitor. Plus having it attached to the Brain, the rotation on the monitor can become a hassle in handheld mode and also on a dolly.

It spins 360degrees clockwise but with one full rotation you can't tilt. (hopefully that makes sense).

I was also a camera operator on this feature with the Epic, we figured it was a good idea to leave the Red Touch monitor attached to the body and I used a SmallHD on an arm.

Thanks Alan,

That's what I was afraid of, we can't actually attach it to the rear of the LCD without the base...

but can we attach the LCD on the brain and have on the same time one of the Sliding Top Handle ?

RU Deaf Can't Read? don't get me started on the spelling!

I know Zac slightly too far off the beaten track to be relevant? I think not, Just look at the design of dem' bones, I wish I had them in my steadicam design, hell with a pair of legs like this you might not need the bike, and the Epic could go out for walks all by its self.

I think so mate. We're talking about is it possible to have the RED touchscreen on the RED Arm. We aren't talking about other possible ways to build legs for steadicam operation.

Yeah but what are you gonna talk about after you've exhausted the dilemma.
