He was conceding that the Scarlet fits the technical definition of "vaporware." He was by no means encouraging you to refer to it as such until release.

Just call it Scarlet. Every time you use the term vaporware, you're unknowingly invoking negative connotations about delays.

I know Ryan, I kind of intentionally choose to be a bit facetious, but I certainly did not mean to invoke negatively on Scarlet (Vaporware) delays. Have to admit, Jim made the point, I tried to stick (Pun intended!) the point through my frustration and sarcasm. I will reconsider the use of the term vaporware after the use of the word Scarlet (vaporware). This will be the last of it.

I will work towards getting off of Jim's Shit list, if one exists! Sorry Jim, I certainly don't want to be on that list!

Scarlet may have lost its edge from a marketing standpoint, but scarlet is still the camera we had all hoped for, and if you look around, there is nothing that can touch it, or do what it will be capable of at its price point!

PREDICTION: Think about it for a moment, in Jack Bauer language, RED went dark, do any of you really believe that Jim, the type of genius he is, is gonna fail? RED went dark because it will now be better to make some major achievements with our lowered expectations! GET READY SOON TO BE IN SHOCK WITH WHAT RED DIGITAL CINEMA HAS IN-STORE FOR US! I absolutely believe that an announcement is forthcoming before the release of the AF100! It's what I would do! Its not over yall!
