Oh wow.
You guys aren't kidding when you say you turn on a dime.

I love seeing this stuff develop 'real time.'
Can't wait to see where it takes us this time.

The Red One never got the- " The Red One has changed" post. It stands alone. Refined with each software upgrade though. Jim you must be proud.

Full working models at NAB... shipping to ramp up after. Volume estimations are high so the long wait like a RED ONE should not be an issue. But that depends on the real demand. This is the current schedule... but you know things can change. The only good news is that we have now done this once and have a better idea of what is involved.

We are making these changes "in the nick of time".

So is there any chance Scarlett will now use Monstro?

One of the surest ways to win in war is agility. Just look at the trained and numerically superior French heavy cavalry vs. light English archers at Agincourt 1415. Most of modern combat is based on being able to maneuver.

Jim seems to be basing his victory over the "big three" on his ability to flank them. Let's see how fast he can really move :-)

The pressure is on like it was never before. But, you already know that. With the 5D Mark30p being hailed as "Superior to RED ONE in Lowlight Situations", Nikon's rumor of a Video Acquisition Body with Removable Lenses in 2009, The upcoming bigger brothers to both the MK30p and the D90 and not to mention the other market where the HPX170 and 35mm Adapter setups still live and prosper...

Well, y'know...

I think we'll all be hopin' the next official announcement won't have an asterisk beside it.

Friendly ribbin'! I love shootin' RED, it makes me want to sell all of my gear and just force people to shoot RED. =T

We won't make people wait to see what we are thinking until NAB. We'll try to announce the whole package fairly soon so no one gets too nervous.
